In August 2018, James J. Pepper was the attorney of record and trial counsel for the whistleblower who secured a $90 million settlement for the State of Texas. A copy of the Texas settlement agreement can be found at Texas Settlement Agreement.
James J. Pepper has represented both individuals and government bodies in the largest pharmaceutical qui tam settlements in history including the September 2009 Pfizer settlement ($2.3 billion global settlement a copy of which is found here at Pfizer Settlement Agreement), the July 2012 GlaxoSmithKline settlement ($3.0 billion global settlement) and the December 2012 Amgen settlement ($762 million global settlement).
